According to the 2023 Digital Quality of Life Index (DQL) conducted by cybersecurity company Surfshark, Vietnam has improved its ranking by 14 places, now standing at 56th in the world. Out of the Index’s 5 pillars, Vietnam performed best in internet affordability, claiming the 16th place, while still facing challenges in e-security, ranking 94th. The fifth annual report has placed Vietnam 56th among 121 countries, up 14 places compared to the previous year. Snapshot In the overall Index, Vietnam ranks behind Thailand (51st) but surpasses Cambodia (105th). In Asia, Vietnam takes 15th place, with Singapore leading the region. On April 9, at the REDSLAND Stadium in Saitama city, Japan, the final round and the award ceremony of the football game “FAVIJA Kanto Cup 2023” took place on the celebration of 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (1973-2023). The game was organized by the Vietnam Japan Cultural and Sports Exchange Association (FAVIJA) under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan. 64 teams selected from nearly 100 amateur teams of Vietnamese people living, studying and working in Japan registered to participate in the game. The qualifying round started on March 26 and 32 excellent teams passed to join the final round. The protection of wildlife was a universal issue, Modi said, launching the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), which was born out of a July 2019 message when he had called for an alliance of global leaders to obliterate demand and firmly curb poaching and illegal wildlife trade in Asia. The IBCA will focus on the protection and conservation of seven major big cats of the world — tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard, puma, jaguar and cheetah — with range countries harbouring these species.
