Quang Binh is famous for many charming landscapes of mountains and sea. The coast is dotted with blue water and yellow sand beaches that sparkle under forests of green willow trees.

Every year, Quang Binh attracts many visitors coming to interesting landscapes such as Phong Nha, Tien Son caves, the primitive forests in Phong Nha – Ke Bang reserve, Nhat Le, Da Nhay beaches, Bang Mineral Hot Spring, etc. Among them, Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park has been recognized as a World Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003.

In addition to these, Quang Binh preserves objects from Bau Tro Remains, Hoa Binh and Dong Son culture as well as historical relics like Quang Binh Gate, Luy Thay, and Rao Sen. There are many places related to the two resistance wars such as Cu Nam, Canh Duong, Cha Lo, Cong Troi, Xuan Son, Long Dai, and Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Not as spectacular as Phong Nha – Ke Bang nor as poetic as Nhat Le beach, Quang Phu sand dunes attract tourists with the rustic wilderness, and the vast, lovely sky.

Quang Phu sand dunes are located in Quang Phu commune, near Nhan Trach commune, Bo Trach District, about 10km from the center of Dong Hoi City.

Your first impression of this place is the vast, extraordinary sand dunes seem to last endlessly to the horizon in front of tourists’ eyes, and sparkle like tiny diamonds under the sunshine.

The deeper the travelers go, immersing themselves in the vast space, they will be able to admire the charming curves shaped by the different sand dunes, creating an amazing picture of nature. On the smooth sand, there are a few bushes here and there, with the wildflowers growing strongly against the harsh condition of nature.

Quang Phu sand dune appears as a wild and vibrant natural scenery, with extraordinary winding curves up to the top of the dunes that will help create unique Instagram photoshoots.

Because of the gentle blowing of sea waves, the shapes of the sand are also changed constantly. Not only that, the color of the dunes has different highlights at the moment of the day.

If compared with the Red sand dunes in Mui Ne, Quang Phu sand dunes bring a different look because it is located on the beach, and the space is open. The sand dunes are not as steep as the Red sand dunes in Mui Ne, but the length is not as long as the other destination.

With high, steep sand dunes, visitors will have an interesting experience when sitting on a skateboard that plunges from the top to the foot of the dune and then climbs back up and tries again. This game is suitable for everyone, helping people relax and bringing laughter to family and friends. Skateboard rental service here is not yet popular, but visitors can be assured of the quality as well as safety when having fun here. The sand dunes often get crowded during holiday time, so make sure to arrive at this place early. When coming here, visitors can not only immerse themselves in the beach but also have fun on these high-quality sand dunes.

With the vast space, the crystal blue sky, and the mesmerizing sand dunes just beneath your feet, Quang Phu sand dunes make a perfect destination for young travelers who have an adventurous soul, and will not dare to conquer challenges.
